Gas appliances are generally very safe to operate, however when they do generate a fault, they can become very dangerous and even fatal. It is therefore very important that your gas appliances are installed and regularly checked for safety by a CORGI Registered Gas Installer, such as ourselves at Island Gas.

If you are a landlord, then you are responsible for the safety of your tenants under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 act. As a home owner, you will want to ensure that you and your family are living in safety.

CORGI recommends that you arrange safety checks on an annual basis by a suitably qualified gas installer.
